Lars Ahlm joins Future Mobility
Future Mobility is carried out in close cooperation between Lindholmen Science Park and Vinnova, involving people in Sweden as well as in the United States. Following an organization change, Lars Ahlm at Vinnova’s office in Stockholm has recently replaced Eric Wallgren in Future Mobility’s management team.
Nordic Autonomous Mobility Week in Silicon Valley
In January 2025, following CES 2025 in Las Vegas, Future Mobility co-sponsored the Nordic Autonomous Mobility Week in Silicon Valley, providing state-of-the-art insights into autonomous vehicles (AVs) for leading experts, policymakers, and innovators from Sweden, Norway, and the United States.
Swedish AI drones to reduce wildlife strikes in the United States
The aviation industry faces a growing challenge in mitigating wildlife strikes, which pose a threat to both human life and aircraft safety. Traditional wildlife management methods—such as patrolling with vehicles, using pyrotechnics, trained dogs and gunshots—are proving to be inefficient. This has opened the door for innovation, and Flox is leading the charge in a new project supported by Future Mobility.
Sweden at CES: Driving Innovation and Mobility Forward
For the second year, Future Mobility contributed to Sweden's efforts to promote participation at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). Over 120 Swedish tech and mobility companies were involved in this initiative. Future Mobility has just granted funding for a new innovation project, Road Condition Data.
