Perfectly in line with one of Future Mobility’s prioritized themes – electromobility – EVS gathers the whole ecosystem working with the development and introduction of electric vehicles. Attracting delegates from the whole world, EVS-38 offered a valuable opportunity for Future Mobility to meet Swedish and US innovation actors to create linkages and argue for the value of bilateral collaborations, with or without co-funding from Future Mobility.
Jan Hellåker, U.S. Project Manager, Future Mobility (on screen) on stage during the panel discussion "How autonomous is E-mobility going to be?".
The session was moderated by Mattias Goldman, CEO of the 2023 Secretariat.
The speakers included:
Meyseng Se Tchao, Head of Future Vehicle & Mobility, Dekra
François E. Guichard, Mechanical Engineer, UNECE
Karin Ebbinghaus, CEO, Elonroad
Henrik Green, General Manager, Einride Autonomous Technologies
Jan Hellåker, Senior Advisor at Drive Sweden & U.S. Project Manager, Future Mobility.
As the host for EVS-38 this time was Gothenburg, there were also chances to showcase sustainable mobility examples as well as how the region works as an innovation hot spot for many mobility actors, including OEMs such as Volvo Group and Volvo Cars, suppliers and research and innovation institutions.
Next year, EVS will be hosted by Long Beach in California, thus providing an excellent environment for continued development of new and old innovation collaborations.
