What we offer actors in Sweden
Collaboration with the United States can deliver innovations that would not be possible to obtain otherwise.
Future Mobility can support you with inspiration, matchmaking, and other aspects needed to form a new bilateral collaboration.
The United States leads the development in many fields related to sustainable mobility. Based on ambitious targets to reduce dangerous emissions and mitigate greenhouse gases, the country is a trendsetter on many topics and modes of transportation.
With its vast geographic spread and progressive universities and organizations epicenters of innovations and firms with cutting-edge solutions are emerging. One innovative cluster is Silicon Valley in California, where there is great interest in collaboration.
The American part of Future Mobility is based in California to benefit from this innovative state and the Nordic Network which is based there.
Future Mobility also explores opportunities beyond California and has ongoing exchanges with several other locations.
Basically, we offer two types of support to actors in Sweden interested in advancing collaboration within sustainable mobility with the United States:
- Inspiration and knowledge related to collaborations between Sweden – the United States
- Matchmaking to help you identify adequate project partners
- Guidance towards potential funding sources.
Given Future Mobility’s position in the innovation system, we have a strong and growing network with innovative actors in the industry, academia and other organizations in the United States.
If you want to team up with an organization to jointly work with research and innovation, we can help you find a partner. We are also happy to discuss other aspects relating to collaboration.
If you have a project idea that your organization would like to run in collaboration with other parties across Sweden – USA and which is aligned with Future Mobility’s objectives, we encourage you to test that idea on us.
We can propose relevant funding schemes in both countries, and we are happy to support you in developing an attractive project proposal.

If you have a collaborative idea but lack the resources to develop it, we may even be able to financially support its inception. Such projects need to have at least two actors, one in Sweden and one in the United States, and have a high potential to lead to long-lasting mutually rewarding collaborations.
